MIRACLE IN CELL NO.7

Hello ! This is our fifth post about movies. I hope you all enjoy it and please keep reading the other post. In this post, I will make a post about a movie that make me cry even after watching it for 4 times. The movie title is MIRACLE IN CELL NO.7 which relesed last year. It is a heart warming and a family melodrama about a mentally man that wrongfully imprisoned for rape and murder a kids. In the cell, he slowly builds friendships with the criminals in his cell and his cellmate help him see his lovely daughter by breaking the cell law and they even help him defending himself in his trial.

This movie takes place in  two time of periods. There's the modern story where the grown-up daughter, Ye-sung became a lawyer and open up his father, Lee Yong-gu case again to clear his father's name from the false charge of murder and rape. During Ye-sung defended his father in the court, she told them their life story to prove that his father was innocent. Then the movie flashback to 1997, the year that his father was accused and imprisoned in cell no.7. 

The story started with Ye-sung and Yong-gu, his father visiting a storefront to see Ye-sung favorite sailormoon backpack on display. Yong-gu desperately want to buy that backpack for his daughter but he does not have money yet. But one day the backpack was bought and the incident made them sad. A few days after that, a little girl, the owner of the sailormoon backpack offers to take him to another store which sells it, he follows her until he hears a sudden and short scream.

He end up finding the girl laying in the street with a lot of blood on her head and unconsciously. Yong-gu tried to save that little girl by doing CPR routine but his efforts taken wrongly by an old lady that walked passed them. He then unfairly put on the fast track through the justice system and was coerced, sometimes violently, into giving a false confession that he killed her. In the truth, Yong-gu just doesn't even know enough to understand his situation. He can't defend himself and the worst of all, no one seems to care about him.

In the cells, Yong-gu's cellmates did not like him at the beggining but after he save one of his cellmate by sacrificing his life, their bond become stronger. His cellmate said that he will do anything that Yong-gu wants and he said that he wants to meet Ye-sung. His cellmates have to brought Ye-sung into the cells illegally. The presence of Ye-sung brought more bright and cheerful atmosphere in the cell. Little Ye-sung brings joy into each of their life. 

After knowing that Yong-gu is innocent in his case, his cellmates help him to defending himself in the court. But since they can not accompany him to his trial, they spend countless hours drilling him what he has to say to prove that he is not guilty.

But on the trial day, the system is so cruel to Yong-gu. These part was maybe the hardest aspect of the story to swallow was how completely and willfully blind it was to his inability to stand trial. we were aware that these was a personal issue to police commissioner, but is becomes difficult not to hate him when he refuses to take Yong-gu's state of mind into account and wants him declared guilty no matter what.

These story has so many emotional moments that we will feel during watching this movie such as a sad emotion when Yong-gu was separated with his daughter or an angry emotion when there is no justice for Yong-gu even they know, he is innocent. There are something amazing about this movie that make it special from other movie. I suggest for those who not yet watching this movie, please take your time to watch it. You will no regret it !

Carrie White

          This story start when a lady,Margaret give birth of carrie White.Her mother  thinks God is punishing her with a Cancer,but when sees the baby start to be born ,she starts to stab her to death with a pair of scissors .However, by the sense of a mother she stopped from doing that and let the newborn baby to be with her.

          As the year the keep pass and the baby now had grown up. Carrie as the baby is extremely shy and retiring. Carrie start to have her first menstruation unexpectedly while  she is at her school. Carrie shock what had happened on her body and started to scream. All of the student laughed at her and one of them doing something that embarrassingly . Chris and her  friends who a bully teen had take video of Carrie and uploaded the video into the youtube, One of the girls ,Sue is ashamed an stop teasing Carrie .

          To make things up to Carrie ,Sue ask her boyfriend Tommy to take  Carrie to the prom instead of her.Tommy reluctantly agrees .At first Carrie refuse to take because she knows it only a tricking .But at last,she had assured by her  teacher and  started to blossom. Her mother not allow her to go because she know something bad will happen . Margaret tries to prevent Carrie from going to the prom,but Carrie telekinetically locks her mother in the closet .

          Meanwhile another girl who has been banned from the prom for her continued aggressive behaviour . She isn't so forgiving and hatches an evil plan with her boyfriend that involves Carrie and a bucket full of pig's blood. But what none of the students realize is that Carrie has the power of telekinesis, the power to move things with your mind, and that when you make her mad, she transforms from an innocent girl to a rage-filled monster.

   

          While Carrie return home her mother tells Carrie about the nights Carrie’s  Conception . Suddenly, Margarets attacks Carrie . Carrie becomes hysterical and makes condition going to be worst . The house collapses and apparently kills the Whites.

POINT OF VIEW

My point of view , i personly really like this film ,it had a really good story line .The story also have a lot of moral value that can affected people out there . 

IP MAN

SYPNOPSIS

       Ip Man (Donnie Yen) began studying Wing Chun or one branch of kung fu martial arts since he was thirteen years old. A love of martial knowledge this makes a lot of sacrifice for the sake of expanding knowledge of this martial. After a long time to learn Wing Chun, Ip Man decides to open their own college. 

       A lot of people that could be studied in Wing Chun master this one and some of his students later became famous despite his own Ip Man's name is rarely known people. One of the many students identified Ip Man  who is Bruce Lee who managed to studied with Ip Man for five years. 

Ip Man movie is adapted from the real-life story of the Wing Chun master of this. The director, Wilson Yip, decided to focus more on this movie on Japanese colonialism in China around the 30's and highlights how very loved Ip Man ,Wing Chun teaches his country rejected the Japanese soldiers at that time. 

       Although referred to as a film based on a true story, but there are some 'distortion' that made ​​it possible to consider threading this story so much more interesting film. For example only, in this film, Ip Man is told to leave mainland China to Hong Kong because it refused to cooperate with the Japanese soldiers who now occupy the territory of China. According to history, Ip Man left China in 1949 due to avoid communist rule.

POINT OF VIEWS

•  From my opinion, this movie had portrayed many moral values. What I had learned in the movie itself is the value of being low self esteem although he achieved a great victory in life. Although IP Man is the master of Wing Chun, he always remember to be with his family and his friends. As example, he always spend his time in training and discussing martial arts with his friends and colleagues.
•  After the Japanese invade their village, master IP Man step down as a collie in a coal mine. In order to support his family he had to earn his come in the mine. All of his work and his house had been taken by the Japanese. This shows that he willing to do anything although he is a wealthy man.The pick of the movie is when IP Man fought with General Miura to protect the sacred Wing Chun knowledge from going to the wrong hand. This shows that he is protected.
•  Overall view of the movie is the movie is very fasinating and interest me on learning Wing Chun martial arts. The movie also portrays the sacrifice of the legendary master of Wing Chun.        
•  As I loves in martial arts so I suggest to whom who loves or likes action to watch this video.. Hope you enjoys watching this video.

HUNGER GAMES

 SYPNOPSIS

     A film directed by Gary Ross is staking Jennifer Lawrence as the main driver, who plays Katniss Everdeen and Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne plays) and Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark plays) also beside for the success of this film. The film was first screened in Malaysia from 22 March. 

   State Capitol Panem forces 12 districts to send a representative of a man and a young woman to represent their respective regions in on The Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a reality show where all of the district attorney will fight and kill each other and the last surviving representative will be crowned the winner and awarded. 

    Katniss Everdeen and her family live in District 12. During the days of the coming of the Capitol, all the teenagers in District 12 gathered and, unexpectedly, Katniss younger sister was selected as a representative of District 12. Katniss volunteered to be the representative of the voluntary and replace her sister. While Peeta Mellark, the son of bread vendor selected as the representative for District 12 boys. 

     Katniss and Peeta in the training center located in the Capitol with representatives from other districts. Katniss and Peeta initially visible as doubt their abilities as outright opponents point out the advantages they have. Can they survive until the end. Who will win The Hunger Games?

POINT OF VIEWS

• From my point of view,Hunger games has an awesome plot because this story teaches us about love and how to survive in the challenge life.
• We also must have positive thinkng and a strategy how to win a game like Katniss and Peeta do.
• In addition,we should sacrifice ourselves like Katniss do when she volunteereed herself to replace his sister in this game.

FROZEN

  SYPNOPSIS

 Elsa ,Princess of Arandelle,has a power who is able to produce ice.One night,while playing with her sister, Anna.She accidentally injured her sister.The king and queen seek help from the troll to help them.The troll removes Anna memories of Elsa's magic.The king and the queen decided to isolate their children until Elsa learn how to control her power.Elsa spend all her time alone because she was scared if she hurted Anna again.

   After a few years,Elsa comes at her age and  getting ready for her coronation.Excited to be allowed out,Anna explore the town and meet Prince Hans.He proposes Anna,but Elsa did not bless them.

  When the sister argue,Elsa accidentally expose her power.Panicking Elsa had turn Arandelle into winter.Highly in the North Mountain , she made a beautifulcastle made from ice and unknowingly bring her and Anna childhood snowman , Olaf into life.Meanwhile Anna decided to find her sister.When obtaining supplies,she meets an iceman called Kristoff and sven.

       Anna and Elsa reunite but she scared if she hurt Anna again.Elsa become restless and her power lash out and stroke Anna heart.Elsa also created a monster to chase out Anna.When they save,Kristoff notices Anna's hair  white.He seek help from the troll but the troll said only a true love can save Anna from frozen.

     Meanwhile,HAns and his squad leading a search to find Anna.During a battle with duke 's man,Elsa unconcious and imprisoned in Arandelle.hans asked Elsa to reundo the winter but she does not know how.When Anna reach the castle,she asked Hans to kiss her to break the curse but Hans does not want.Then,he reveal his intention to take over the throne and he leaves Anna to die.

        Olaf help Anna to find Kristoff because he know Kristoff loves Anna.Hans tell Elsa ,Anna was dead because of her.Suddenly,the storm stopped and give Anna to find Kristoff.However,Anna sees Hans wanteed to kill Elsa ,she runs 

towards Elsa and try to stop Hans but she freezes and blocking Hans attack.Anna gives Hans a punch and sent back to the Southern Isles.Elsa cut off trade with Duke Wesselton.

POINT OF VIEW

   -In my opinion, Frozen has a different story because we cannot expected what will happen next.From the scene where Anna froze ,we all expected that Kristoff will thaw her but the different thing happen that are Anna is the true love of Anna.

   -This story suits for all stage of age.This movie can be enjoyed and the director have include all genre in this movie such as drama,comedy and love.This success has makes this movie as a high rating movie.

    -In my opposite opinion,Elsa should has her own love too.Unlike Anna,she has her own true love that is Kristoff but Elsa does not have a love story.
